introduction
To start, I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia - a great place to live, if you ask me. I live within an hour driving distance from the beach (my favorite vacation spot), the city (great restaurants, bars, and where my brother lives), the country (where my best friend currently resides), and the mountains (my second favorite vacation spot). I've really grown to love the change of seasons - just when I get tired of one season, another one comes along. September in Pennsylvania has to be my favorite month...it still has the warmth of summer, but with all the beautiful colors of fall. Since my husband and I recently purchased a home in this area, I forsee us living here for years to come. I am looking forward to the day when my husband and I begin our family here...
The Boy

That brings me to my husband - Walter. Walt and I are high school sweethearts...puke, I know. But looking back, I definitely believe it was love at first sight. OK, so maybe Cupid was playing a mean trick on me when he initially pointed his love arrow at Walt's twin brother instead. Yes, it's true. I dated Walt's twin brother first in 10th grade for about 3 months. But 9 months later Cupid finally got it right and I fell in love with Walt...and it's been a heck of a ride ever since. We lasted all through high school...all of my 11th grade year and his 12th grade year (he is a year older than I) and we kept the love strong until we parted our ways in college. In 1996, I packed my bags and journeyed up to the countryside of Lancaster, PA to attend Millersville University (Go Mauraders!) and Walt was headed for Scranton, PA to attend Johnson Technical Institute to complete his schooling for cabinetmaking. Our relationship held strong until
about my second year at school. Due to a combination of our immaturity and the physical distance, we began drifting apart until there was no more drifting. With lots of heartache and tears, Walt and I offically broke up in the Spring of '98. Nonetheless, the years we were apart are the reason we are so happy together today. We were able to grow up, gain our independance, and 'sow our oats'...so that when I graduated college in 2000 the sparks flew again. 5 years later...at the Blue Bell Country Club in Blue Bell, PA on July 2, 2005 we finally tied the knot! It's a great story, actually...one that I'm sure will be told time and time again to our children and grandchildren one day.
The Fam
Before I begin telling you about the family I would evenually like to have....let me tell you about the family I already have. The Guzzo Fam. My parents, Mike and Pat, have a love story very similar to Walt and I's...high school sweethearts, broke up in college, and reunited shortly after college graduation only to get married, have kids...and, well, here I sit. Not long after me came my brother Michael...a 24 year-old recent college grad of Drexel University and current PR buff living in the city of Philadelphia.
My family is great and offer me more love and support than I could ever ask for.
That's all for today...
