shu, shu retarded flu!

Well I think my body began fearing the thought of revisiting my college days for a night - as I came down with a nasty flu-like sickness on Thursday night, continuing through yesterday morning. So unfortunately I was unable to make an appearance at my unofficial college reunion on Saturday night...but I heard from the few that attended the event that I didn't miss much anyway.

It was my first time being sick in a long time and I was miserable. Since Saturday was an ugly rainy day anyway, it made me feel that much more inclined to become attached to my couch, rapped up in a blanket, and stare at the television with the remote glued to my hand. My husband and I were able to catch up on some movie flicks that we've wanted to see for a while now though...Million Dollar Baby and Saw...and ordered lots of take out. Just what the doctor ordered. What a great reflection of how happiness is now defined in my life since college...
