spontaneous retardation

Every once in a while I am confronted with a situation where I am looked upon to be an informed, educated person knowing the answer, fact or information the situation is requesting - only to find myself not knowing and, as a 27-year-old college grad with a fairly high intelligence, really should know. Maybe these are facts and pieces of information that I really do know, but just have not stuck in my head over the years...or maybe I somehow missed that day in school where they taught this stuff? There are days when I think...omg, how have I gotten through life not knowing that?! I think I will keep these unknown "things" to myself to avoid total humilation...but can I get a "I hear ya sista!" from someone in the crowd? Anyone else relate to my spontaneous retardation?

And I'm not blonde...I swear.
