what's all the excitement about?

A new Lost episode is finally on tonight and I am a bit reluctant to get excited. I have to be honest...I don't think this season has measured up to the first season. The episodes thusfar have been dull and lacking the mystery and suspense that the first season delivered week after week. I'm not giving up yet...I'm definitely in for the remainder of the season but I don't want to place all hope into tonight's "big" episode. Supposedly someone on the island is going to die. My bet is on Sayid simply because I heard rumors at the end of last season that he was going to drop out of the show due to financial disagreements with his contract. We'll see. The likeliness is Sawyer because he was injured pretty badly at the end of the last episode...but I'm more in tuned to think that is what the producers want you to think.

Anyway...the
abc.com page is running a video that shows the preview to tonight's episode and a 4 minute recap of events that have occurred so far.

I forget your e-mail. Can you give me tips on approaching co-workers for donations?

hm...that is a tough one - and one of the reasons I really didn't like having to collect money from people. It's a great cause so once people know what you are collecting the money for, they are always willing to participate. I'm not sure what your work environment is, but to avoid putting people on the spot and creating unconfortable situations, maybe personal e-mails or flyers around your cubicle or office would do the trick. Hope that helps!
