testing our health insurance

My one-year wedding anniversary is quickly approaching and I have been desperately trying to find something at the last minute for my hubby and I to do in celebration of the big el numero uno. I want to plan for something far from the ordinary 'out to dinner' occasion at Carrabba's. Lord knows I love Carrabba's, but if I eat there one. more. time...

After researching every spontaneous, romantic idea I had, I finally think I have it. And what better way to celebrate our first year of love and devotion to each other than tearing down deadly water rapids with nothing but a lifejacket to keep us from drowning in the violent waters and threatening jagged rocks below?

Whitewater rafting. I've always wanted to try it and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. Afterall, our favorite honeymoon activity (well, make that our second favorite honeymoon activity...wink, wink) was tearin' up the rough terrain on the mountainsides of Aruba on ATVs. So much so that our tour director had to pull us aside and tell us to stop "rough-housing" or someone was bound to get hurt. Awesome. You know you're havin' a blast when you get reprimanded for it.

Here's to hoping we get reprimanded in the whitewaters!
