book reviews

I recently got back into reading over that past few months and thought I'd share a few book reviews along my reading journeys...

Currently reading: A Trip to the Beach by Melinda and Robert Blanchard Clarkson Potter

This is an easy read...a great book for anyone with a slight interest in entrepreneurship and/or interested in reading true stories of life journeys. I am about half way through and really am enjoying it. It is very inspiring!

Last Read: Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella

I read this book because I read Confessions of a Shopaholic by Kinsella and really liked it. However...I really did not like Shopaholic Ties the Knot - it was the exact same story line and concept as Confessions. The ending was very predictable and I found the main character to be quite annoying. Well, although the basis of the storyline for Can you Keep a Secret was somewhat different from her Shopoholic series...I still saw a strong similarity in character traits. Not a huge fan...I would give it a C+ if I had to grade it.

Before that: Mr. Maybe by Jane Green

I was interested to read this book because I really enjoyed Jemima J, also by Jane Green. I thought this book was even better than Jemima J...a quick, easy read that I found hard to put down. I recommend!

I just ordered some more entrapreneur books from Amazon.com because I have really been inspired by my current interests, in addition to my current read, A Trip to the Beach. I'll post my "reviews" as I read them as well...
