the cycle of my demise

While I try to exclude descriptive work discussions from my blog, it is very difficult being that I spend what feels like 90% of my time here. And what effects me here at work usually effects me elsewhere.

I am just so tired of the same cycle of bustin' my hump for something or someone and it just goes completely unrecognized. I also know that this lack of recognition is not always from negligence, but due to the fact that I work with people who are threatened by others' successes. It just sucks when these people just so happen to be managers; managers that just so happen to have control over whether or not I get recognized, acknowledged, or (heaven forbid) promoted.

And there we have the cycle.

I know, I know. Waaaaaaah.
