labor of love

By definition, Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

It also means no more white pants till Memorial Day (I hate this fashion rule and have broken it on many occasions. Such a rebel, I know.), the brink of football season, and cooler weather necessitating cute jeans and sweater outfits.

I love the change of seasons. Along with the beautiful change of scenery outside your window, the change of season also means freshening up your wardrobe with the latest seasonal trends and fashions. The latest scour of my favorite shopping sites resulted in a swanky new outfit to go with my swanky new wish list shoes, Lemore:

Cute, no?

Silence & Noise Straight Leg Jean (urbanoutfitters.com)
Black Cable Knit Sweater (windorstore.com)
Ivory Top with Banded Waist (windsorstore.com)
Lemore (stevemadden.com)

Happy Labor Day!
