project crazy

All clothing designers are insane. OK, so this may be a broad statement...but you designers out there only have the show Project Runway to blame for the creation of this stereotype. Maybe it's to do with the casting directors for this show - since we all know that watching insane people in action makes for amazing television entertainment - or maybe it's the combination of these people being extremely creative mixed in with having a deep craving for nationwide attention, but Project Runway showcases this lunatic behavior week after week. From dramatic crying scenes just as someone is about to be voted off the runway (or who is "In or Owut", as Heidi would so eloquently put it) to the tantrum spectacles while putting their design creations together...there's a psychotic designer for everyone to get to know and love.
