missing a limb

I've been without my computer all. day. long. Just short of falling into mad hysteria, I stumbled upon a lonesome desktop to loan myself for the remainder of the day.

I didn't realize how much my daily life revolved around the cyber world until I had lost my connection completely. It was like being naked. Without my daily dose of celebrity gossip, being able to peruse my favorite shopping sites at will, or the constant connection to my friends over e-mail, I am not sure what my life would be like.

Absolutely, utterly, and painfully boring, I suppose.
