bachelorette parties never get old

Tomorrow night I have a bachelorette party to attend. A limo bus, cocktails galore and pretty girls all dolled up for a night on the town is what I foresee in my near future...and I'm stoaked.

Bachelorette parties are a great excuse for women my age (the elderly age of 27, mind you...) to kick off our standard uniforms of slippers and sweats, turn off the TV, and escape our normally boring 'nights spent in' weekends. They give us the opportunity to dust off those heels, slip into something a wee bit sexy, and party like rock stars.

The only downfall is that this night is also an unfortunate reminder that we can't party like we used to 5 years ago. A night like this will no doubt leave all of us with week-long hangovers and will force us to resort back to our 'nights spent in' weekend rituals for the next three months just to fully recover.

But once that three month recovery period has passed, you can be certain that we will be craving for it all over again. Bring it on!
