It's rainy. It's cold. It's MONDAY. All should be doom and gloom for me but the cheerful fact that this is a 4-day work week for me make things allllll better.

I'm headed to the beach this Friday for a nice 3-day weekend in celebration of my best friend's bachelorette party. As aforementioned, bachelorette parties rule and are always looked forward to amongst my friends and I. Good times, good laughs, and unbearable hangovers await us. Yeehaw!

Yesterday was a fabulous Mother's Day - despite the fact that no one seemed to recognize my motherhood role to my precious little furball. I guess giving birth to another human being is the only respected qualification for being honored on this day. While the "qualified" mothers were showered with flowers, spa gift certificates, and dinners out to their favorite restaurants, I was given the gift of my little furball running ramped all day, chewing up yet another favorite pair of my shoes, and digging up yet another hole to China in our backyard.

But seriously, "Happy belated Mother's Day" to all my hot mommas! You have a job that I do not envy, but can only hope to achieve the success that you have. You are my heros, my role models, and my future emergency contacts for the day I become a mother myself.
