I know I have been absent from the blogging world lately…and to my (few, yet very appreciated) readers, I apologize. My world has been on quite a tailspin the last few weeks and I haven’t had the spare time I normally do to devote to blogging. I don’t think I have ever let my blog go stale for longer than a week – and I am here to redeem myself.
After about five months in the grueling job market, I finally landed what I hope to be an amazing career opportunity. As my previous post elaborated upon, I have been longing to advance my career within the online industry – and advance I think I just may. I landed a position with an online marketing agency as an Account Supervisor, overseeing at least one account from all business aspects. I optimistically see this as my big break and hope it pans out as I think it will.
I anxiously/nervously/happily gave my two weeks notice on Monday. Anxiously because I have been awaiting this moment for the last six months. I don’t think I could have tolerated one. more. interview. Nervously because any major life change will make anyone nervous. And happily because my boss is a be-atch and I couldn’t wait to tell her I was high-tailin’ it out of here.
As a result of this major career movement, I may not have the time to maintain the consistent relationship with my blog as I so love to do. But I will be certain to keep in touch the best I can…
